The collaboration of Mitsui Chemicals Group and Microwave Chemicals establishes an innovative technology to produce Carbon Fiber from PAN which uses ~50% less energy and a significant reduction in processing time.

The technology will also help reduce the cost of Carbon Fiber, leading to more commercial acceptance in the Mobility segment that can be seen in the near future.
