SABIC AND SINOPEC ANNOUNCE COMMERCIAL OPERATION OF PC PLANT AT JOINT VENTURE SSTPC

SINOPEC SABIC Tianjin Petrochemical Co. Ltd. (SSTPC) (50:50 joint venture) is a mega-sized petrochemical complex. The recent announcement of 260 KT of PC (under the Lexan brand) will enable SABIC to serve the China market even better than before because of the proximity. SSTPC will, as usual, concentrate on major PC-related industries such as electrical and electronics, consumer goods and appliances, automotive, healthcare products, and building and construction applications.
